First Thoughts

My basic instinct when thinking about what music genre I would base my music magazine on was some sort of 'Indie/alternative' magazine, based on bands such as The Courteeners and the Cribs, but also when listening to music I like to look at the cultural side of the music, for instance how The Beatles influenced almost every band, then how we get a long list of bands that have left a long lecagy and insprired other bands to become musicians, such as The Jam came along, followed by The Smiths then The Stone Roses, after this Oasis came along, finally bands like The Courteeners are now trying to carry on this legacy of great British music. So on my magazine cover i'd quite like to have a band who have the image that they could look like they're next in line to be the band that leaves a lasting legacy on British music.
